About Us

The main mission of the Myra B. Cotton foundation is to increase social and economic justice, demonstrate compassion and alleviate poverty as a tangible expression of the Kingdom of God through the vehicle of community development. Myra B. Cotton foundation has been a beacon of hope for the last twenty years. It has relentlessly served as a conduit for social economic empowerment and community engagement. Like most of us we have experienced some challenges over the past few years, yet we still endeavor to serve our community. Our mission remains the same; build healthy communities through housing development, provide affordable housing to women recovering from abuse or trauma, mentor girls and boys, provide scholarships for individuals pursuing a post-secondary education and lastly, economically empower individuals to live prosperous lifestyles through counseling and training.
