Poster presentations at 28th NMCS

Conference participants are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster presentation at the 28th NMCS. Two general poster sessions are scheduled during the conference.

Deadline for submission of poster abstracts is April 15, 2002.

I. Instructions for submitting a poster abstract.

1. Deadline.
Remember that the abstract submission deadline is April 15, 2002.

2. Preparation of Abstracts.
(Abstracts will appear in the 28th NMCS program booklet.)

· Prepare abstracts using either Microsoft Word or WordPerfect applications.

· Abstracts are restricted to ½ page (a maximum 10 cm depth).

· Use 1-inch (2.54-cm) margins on BOTH left and right sides.

· Use 12 point Helvetica or Times New Roman font

· Use single spaced text.

· Title should appear first, in all capital letters, followed by authors’ names and addresses. Place an asterisk immediately after the presenting author’s name. Example is shown below:

TITLE OF YOUR PRESENTATION. Smith, J.D.*, Jones, A.V., and Wang, C.H. Name of your company or institution, address of your company or institution, email address of corresponding author.

3. Instructions for submission of abstracts.

Presenters are encouraged to submit their abstracts electronically, by email attachment, to anjanettewilhelm@mindspring.com on or before April 15, 2002.

Alternatively, abstracts can be hard mailed to the following address:

Please note that faxed abstract submissions cannot be accepted.

II. Notification of Acceptance. 
You will be notified by May 15, 2002, regarding acceptance of your submitted abstract for poster presentation and the date of the conference during which your poster will be presented.

III. Details regarding poster space & presentation.
Poster viewing space is restricted to a maximum of 4 feet x 6 feet. Poster easels/tack pins will be provided.
